Overview
Curtin University runs two research scholarship schemes for international students: the International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) and the Curtin Strategic International Research Scholarships (CSIRS). Both are for study in Australia, with CSIRS places available for commencement in 2014. The IPRS scheme exists to bring top quality international postgraduate students into areas of research strength in Australian higher education and to support Australia's research effort.
The IPRS covers tuition and health cover, and adds a living allowance. The CSIRS covers tuition, basic health cover and a stipend for doctoral study. Which one you can hold depends on your level and whether you are a current or future student.
