What the award covers

Each fellowship provides $5,000 per year for two years, totaling $10,000 per fellow.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must be women from developing countries who have completed a bachelor's degree, have been accepted into a graduate program, and plan to focus their graduate work on issues related to IPRA's goals.

Funds are released only after the selected candidate is admitted into a graduate program. Awards are based on need; students with substantial funding sources are less likely to be considered.
