Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship Grants
The Rotary Foundation funds scholarships through its Global Grant program. The money supports graduate-level coursework or research for one to four academic years. A global grant scholarship has a minimum budget of $30,000, and that can cover passport and visa costs, inoculations, travel, school supplies, tuition, room and board, and similar items. In general, you can carry out the study in any country that has a host Rotary club or district.

Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Program
The Aga Khan Foundation gives a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate study. They go to outstanding students from selected developing countries who have no other way to finance their studies. Awards are made on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis, through a competitive application process held once a year. The Foundation only helps with tuition fees and living expenses. In general, you may choose a reputable university of your own choice, except universities in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, The Netherlands, Italy, Norway and Ireland.

Joint Japan World Bank Scholarships
The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) sponsors students from developing countries for graduate study that leads to a master's degree. The study takes place at preferred and partner universities around the world. The scholarship covers tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and a travel allowance.

ADB Japan Scholarship Program
The Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) gives well-qualified citizens of ADB's developing member countries the chance to do postgraduate study in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields. The study takes place at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region. The ADB-JSP provides full tuition fees, a monthly subsistence and housing allowance, an allowance for books and instructional materials, medical insurance, and travel expenses.

Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarships for Developing Countries
The Wells Mountain Foundation is a public charitable foundation based in Bristol, Vermont, USA. It funds the Empowerment through Education scholarships for individuals in developing nations or other situations of extreme poverty. You can study at a university of your choice in your home country or in another developing country. The average scholarship amount awarded is $1400, which may be used for tuition and fees, books and materials, and other approved costs.

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships
