Short courses and trainings let you build skills and qualifications when full-time study is not possible. The five training scholarships below are open to international students and cover different fields and destinations. Each entry gives the host, what the award includes, and a link to the official page.

Hubert Humphrey Fellowships (USA)
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program gives experienced professionals from designated countries a year of professional enrichment in the United States. Selection is based on leadership potential and commitment to public service in the public or private sector. The fellowships are full grants covering all related expenses.

Endeavour Vocational Education and Training Scholarships (Australia)
The Endeavour VET Scholarship funds international applicants to take VET at Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree level in any field in Australia for up to two and a half years. VET provides occupational or work-related knowledge and skills, and courses relate directly to a trade, occupation or vocation the applicant participates in. The scholarship includes tuition fees, travel allowance, establishment allowance, monthly stipend, health and travel insurance.

Netherlands Fellowship Program for Short Courses (Netherlands)
Nuffic, through the Netherlands Fellowship Programme, provides scholarships for short courses in the Netherlands to international students from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. NFP fellowships can be used for a number of selected courses offered by education institutions in the Netherlands. The institutions provide professional training at post-secondary level in several fields of study. Courses lead to a Dutch certificate or diploma and last from two weeks to twelve months. The NFP allowance is a contribution towards the cost of living for the fellowship holder.

VLIR-UOS Training Scholarships (Belgium)
With the International Training Programme, VLIR-UOS funds practical trainings of 1 to 4 months on a development oriented subject taught in English at Flemish universities and university colleges. VLIR-UOS provides full scholarships for the total duration of the training including allowance, several one-time payments, accommodation, insurance, international travel and tuition fee.

The fellowships are towards specially tailored training and/or studies in fields under UNESCO programme priorities. The fellowship covers study or research related costs.
