University of Oulu Tuition Fee Waivers for International Master's Students

International students starting a Master's degree at the University of Oulu in the Autumn Semester 2014 do not pay tuition fees. The waiver covers the full tuition cost for the programme. It applies to degree-seeking Master's students who are not from Finland.

You must hold a first academic degree, usually a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, from a higher education institution. Normally the Bachelor's is the lower academic degree. It should equal at least three years of full-time study (180 ECTS).

Keep in mind that each Master's programme sets its own specific admission requirements.

The University of Oulu works with University Admissions Finland for the application system and for pre-processing your documents. University Admissions Finland checks your eligibility and the authenticity of your educational certificates. The application period opens in December each year. The deadline for applications is 31 January annually.
