Eligibility requirements
Only applicants from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland who are liable to pay tuition fees can be considered. EU/EEA/Swiss students cannot apply for scholarships at AU. You must also meet the university's general admission requirements and follow its application procedures and deadlines.
How to apply
You do not submit a separate scholarship application. When you apply for admission, your application will automatically be assessed with a view to a possible scholarship along with the academic assessment of your qualifications. You should not upload any additional documentation. The scholarship is connected specifically to your Master's degree programme and cannot be transferred to another degree programme at AU.
Only applicants who have applied for a Master's degree programme no later than 15 January (summer admission) and 15 September (winter admission) will be considered for a tuition waiver/scholarship.
If you are selected for a scholarship, you will receive a scholarship offer along with your letter of admission in the application system. There will be a very short deadline to accept your possible tuition waiver/scholarship offer.
