Stanford Africa MBA Fellowship at Stanford Graduate School of Business

Stanford Africa MBA Fellowship at Stanford Graduate School of Business

Overview

The Stanford Africa MBA Fellowship pays for an MBA at Stanford GSB. Stanford Graduate School of Business runs the programme for citizens of African countries who can show financial need.

The award is built for students who want to take the Stanford MBA and then put their training to work back in Africa. Funding goes toward the cost of the degree, and fellows commit to returning to the continent after graduation.

What the award covers

Fellows get financial support that covers the cost of Stanford MBA tuition and the associated fees. The support runs for the full two-year course of study.

In plain terms, the fellowship is directed at the tuition side of the degree rather than at living costs, so plan your budget around that.

Eligibility requirements

You must be a citizen of an African country. Dual citizens qualify as long as one of your citizenships is of an African nation.

You must have finished your university studies, or be in the final year of completing them.

You must also return to work in Africa within two years of your Stanford MBA graduation, and stay for a period of at least two years.
