Overview
The International Organizations MBA (IO-MBA) at the University of Geneva offers scholarships to full-time students. Awards range from 5,000 CHF upward and are granted based on financial need and academic merit. There is also a fee reduction for part-time participants working at an IO or NGO that partners with the IO-MBA program. Applicants from low- and middle-income countries are strongly encouraged to apply, and early applicants get priority for scholarship consideration.
The IO-MBA curriculum is multidisciplinary and taught by an international faculty from leading universities and practitioners from IOs and NGOs. Coursework covers contemporary management tools and connects theory with practice in international organizations. The program combines management and sustainability to prepare graduates to work across the private sector, public sector, and social purpose organizations. An active IO-MBA Alumni Association gives students access to a network working in international development, business, government, NGOs, and social enterprise.
Located in Geneva, close to the United Nations and other international institutions, the city serves as a classroom. Field trips, guest speakers, and special events connect participants to organizations for hands-on experience.
IO-MBA also provides housing support based on need and academic merit for participants from low- and middle-income countries.
