The Institute of Education (IOE) at University College London (UCL) is offering international students from low- and middle-income countries, the IOE-ISH Centenary Doctoral Scholarships for studies commencing October 2025. This scholarship is given in partnership with the International Students House (ISH).

What the award covers
The Centenary Doctoral Scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation in a single room (shared bathroom) at International Students House and an annual stipend paid by monthly instalments.
The scholarship is tenable for up to 4 years, subject to satisfactory progress.
Eligibility requirements
In order to apply for the Centenary Doctoral Scholarships, candidates should:
- • Be domiciled in an eligible low or lower-middle income country according to the World Bank classification
- • Have received an official unconditional offer letter to study a full time PhD degree at IOE (letter issued by UCL Admissions)

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have an unconditional offer to study a full time PhD degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education. Once you receive your unconditional offer letter, you can complete and submit an online application form. Deadline is 4 May 2026.
