This scholarship helps international students who are intending to study for a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma to join Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington’s international student community.

NZ$15,000 for undergraduate scholarships and NZ$10,000 for Postgraduate Scholarships

International students from all over the world

This is a partial fee-based scholarship that will go towards tuition fees for a Bachelor’s Degree Master’s degree programme of 120, 180 or 240 points or a Postgraduate Diploma of 120 points for one year of study only.

Students must be:

• • International students who are paying full international fees; and
• • Intending to attain a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree at Victoria University of Wellington of 120, 180 or 240 points, or a Postgraduate Diploma of 120 points; and
• • A holder of an unconditional or conditional Offer of Place for a Master’s degree programme or Postgraduate Diploma at Victoria University of Wellington; and
• • New students to a Victoria University of Wellington Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s degree programme.

A scholarship application is not required. Students will be assessed for their eligibility for a scholarship on application for their programme. Recipients will be advised if they have been offered the scholarship in their Offer of Place. The application deadline is same as the admissions deadline.
