Overview
The University of Bradford Global Development Scholarships help master's students who face financial hardship because they live in a country affected by political crisis, war or natural disaster. The scheme was previously called the Countries in Crisis Scholarships. Awards cover full tuition, accommodation and a living-cost allowance for a full-time master's programme, except the MBA.

Students from the countries listed below may apply. In extreme circumstances, the selection panel will also consider applications from students in other countries.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Each scholarship is worth approximately £25,000. It covers full tuition fees and accommodation in The Green, plus £4,200 per annum for living costs, paid in three instalments: October, January and April.
Eligibility requirements
To be considered for a place on a master's course, you must have achieved, or be about to achieve, the minimum degree qualification required for your country. Check the official website for the level that applies to you.
You must also meet the University's English Language requirements. You need to hold the required English qualifications before you apply. The University will not consider your application if you do not meet these requirements.

You do not need a confirmed offer to study at Bradford before applying for this scholarship. However, you must have completed your undergraduate degree and know your results before you can apply. If you depend on the scholarship to pay your fees and living expenses, apply for the scholarship before you apply for a place on a course. Submit the online application form by 15 May 2017.
